To start, we would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas. Whether athlete, supporter, parent, volunteer, coach, committee member or run leader, you all make our lovely club what it is, and we hope you have an amazing time and Santa brings you everything you want!

We don’t usually include parkrun results, excepting the Grand Prix, but this week we want to celebrate three of our amazing juniors. Holly Bulmer, Isla Arthur and Oakley Allsop all ran massive personal bests this weekend at Yarborough (Holly) and Mansfield (Isla and Oakley), taking between a minute and 3 minutes off their PB’s. All threehave worked hard this year, consistently attending training and events, and it paid off on Saturday. Holly’s dad Dave Bulmer also ran a bronze standard time in his new age category, for a double family achievement!

Saturday night saw the annual Harriers Christmas knees up, with a great night out. Strangely, there was far less club mileage done than usual on Sunday. Kev Saville, Joanne Campbell and Sharon James, fresh from the dance floor on Saturday night, ran the Snow Angel trail race organised by Clowne. Over a 4-mile muddy course, Kev Saville led the squad home followed by Jo and Sharon, with all three appreciating the turkey sandwiches at the finish.

Julie Holloway and Lucy Binch ran the ATYW Nottingham Holme run 10k on Sunday with great results. Lucy took 4th lady and an age category win, with Julie hitting a personal best and securing a club silver standard for a great end to the year.

Sunday saw the 3rd Notts Sportshall junior event, with lots of action for our junior athletes. Results are provisional currently. Congratulations to all our juniors for a fine show again!

For the under 11 boys’ team, Oakley Allsop, Roman Marksand Freddie and George North had a great day. Oakley was 3rd in the 1 lap, 2nd in the relay and 2 lap, and 4th in speed bounce. George won the speed bounce, with brother Freddie 2nd. Freddie did a great 1 lap run with a top 10. George, Roman and Freddie all came top 10 in long jump and Geroge won hurdles and 2 lap. Overall, the team scored highest on the day, with results to be confirmed.
