Just a short report this week as five Harriers headed over to the oldest race in the East Midlands at the long established Heckington Country Show. As part of the weekend festivities as well as all the traditional country affairs there are also several running and cycling events and top marks go to Holly Bulmer who took part in the Junior 800 m race on the grass track on the centre stage, taking 1st place in her group on the two laps grass track!

After the juniors had their racing out the way it over to the seniors for the long established 10 mile race which starts with a lap of the grass track before heading out on to the country roads of Heckington for a two lap course before finishing back on the track. First back for the Harriers was Chris Bliss with another strong run that saw him bag another club standard this year to carry on with some great improvements, finishing in 1:07:57. Bryan Cherry followed next together in Dave Bulmer and another PB for Dave in 1:19:58 with Sally Bulmer the sole lady in the team making a very welcome return to racing in 1:37:10. Just in-time for the upcoming warm weather runners were rewarded with a stylish hoody.

This week we hit the penultimate summer league match with the rearranged Hexgreave match and in search of more medals!
