New Members Night

Enjoy running but don’t have anyone to run with? We hold a `New Members’ evening on the first Tuesday of each month.
New runners are welcome to come & join in any training session, but it is hoped that by having dedicated New Members Nights it will be a bit less daunting – in that hopefully other first-timers will also be there.
Qualified coaches will be on hand to help, encourage & advise with training tips so why not come along? All standards welcome.

Senior Club Training:

Tuesday evening

When/Where? 6:15 pm at the Manton Club, Retford Road.
Who? Mixed ability adult group with older juniors.
What? (Winter) Hills. Warm up/down with hill repetitions. No one gets left behind do as any as you like!. This is as long as it’s not icy – in which case we’ll go for a steady run.
Cost? None or £1 for Track Session usually (Summer Months).

Thursday evening

When/Where? 6:15 pm at the Manton Club, Retford Road.
Who? Mixed ability adult group.
What? Distance run carried out on a circular route giving people the option of 5mile/6mile/8+mile run. This usually splits into 2 or 3 groups at different paces.
Cost? None

Sunday Morning Run

When/where? Worksop College straight after junior parkrun (unless the club are competing that day).
Who? Mixed ability adult group.
What? Long steady run on a circular route around the outer edges of Clumber Park giving runners the option of 8mile/9mile/11mile/14mile/16mile runs followed by tea & jaffa cakes! Cost? None
