Sportshall - Final Results

The Worksop Harriers completed a clean sweep winning every meeting in the Notts Mini League Sporthall competition. Not only were the club crowned overall champions but Mark Hardwick & Emily Race won both male & female ‘Athlete of the Year’ and the under 11 & under 15 girls & under 15 boys all won their age categories outright, while Mark Hardwick also won the trophy for the leagues outstanding shot putter.

Coach Michel Harrop said:
“It was a brilliant performance by all the athletes, who have all been really dedicated to achieve this. As the club has never won this league before to do so in such a dominant fashion, winning every meeting & coming away with 7 trophies is unbelievable!”

“I must also thank all the parents for their support in getting so many children to the all the events – it’s been a headache working out who’s doing what with so many youngsters – but the results makes it all worthwhile!!”

Under 11 Girls
Emily Race: 1 lap (1st, 13.8), standing triple jump (1st, 6m), chest push (1st, 7.06m).
Emma Greaves: 1 lap (14.2), speed bounce (4th, 46), 2 laps (5th, 29.1).
Lucy Harrop: 1 lap (14.8), 2 laps (29.7), standing triple jump (4.78m).
Charlotte Mills: 1 lap (15.5), speed bounce (44), 2 laps (31.9).
Amelia Harrop: 1 lap (15.6), 2 laps (31.2), chest push (9.97m).
Katy Phelan: 1 lap (16.2), speed bounce (33), 2laps (33.3).
Emma Gooch: 1 lap (18.5), chest push (4.17m).
Over/under relay: Lucy, Emma, Amelia & Emily (4th, 1:28.5).
