  • In any one Calendar year, one award can be received for achieving a standard at each of the designated race distances (3K, 5K, 10K 10Miles, Half Marathon, 20 Miles, Marathon), in your age category.

  • If more than one standard is achieved, for a designated race distance, in any one Calendar year, in that age category, only the higher award will be made.

  • The age category will change on an athletes birthday, and so it is possible to receive awards in two age categories in one Calendar year.

  • The award of a Club Standard will only be made to members achieving that standard whilst wearing Worksop Harriers colours.

  • The award of a Club Standard is also open to 'second claim' members but, again, only if Worksop Harriers colours are worn whilst achieving the standard.

  • A Club Member wishing to register his / her achievement, of attaining a standard, must do so by completing the details on the Club Standards Submission Form downloadable here. This should then be sent to Peter Fendley.

  • All submitted forms will be ratified or rejected at the monthly meeting of the Worksop Harriers Committee. The athlete will be notifed as soon as possible, after the meeting, as to the outcome of their submission.

  • Awards will be made annually, at the first presentation evening in the Calendar year following the achievement of a standard.
