Mini League XC - Brierley Park

The third meeting in the Notts AAA Mini League cross-country was at a very wet Brierley Country Park at Hurthwaite. The exceedingly muddy conditions meant it was a real test of strength & determination. Bolsover - GP Final

The final race in the senior Harriers Grand Prix was held at the Bolsover 10km last Sunday. The cold & still conditions were ideal for running fast times - for those who hadn’t been over indulging in the Christmas festivities! The club looks set to have it’s best turnout for years in the Notts AAA Cross-Country Championships, at Berry Hill on 10 th Jan, with 40 athletes, young & old entered to run! The Junior Harriers did well in the second meeting in the Notts Mini League Cross-Country at Newark, where the club as a whole held on to third place. Club Half Marathon Championships

We held our Half Marathon Championships at the Clowne race last weekend. Both Steve Battle and Julie Bonser retained the trophies they had won last year. Unchallenged, Steve had a casual trot round finishing 64 th in 1:29:17. The Worksop Harriers were well represented at the Nottinghamshire Amateur Athletic Association annual awards held at the Festival Hall, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. Sportshall & Trader Fun Run

The junior Worksop Harriers had another solid performance at the second meeting in the Notts AAA Mini League Sportshall competition at the Grove Leisure Centre at Newark.
