Launch of Worksop Harriers New Website - May 2007

Welcome to the Worksop Harriers website........... we hope you like the new look.
Worksop has enjoyed a long history of Athletics since the clubs formation in 1949, and 2007 see's a bit of revolution in terms of the clubs progression into the future, this website being just one of them.

Plans are well under way to find the club a permanant base (with 'showers' and everything), and a date has been given, 1st May 2007, for the first senior section training session at the Harriers new home at Manton Athletic Club. Our thriving junior section and Sisters on Sunday group are to follow shortly after.

If you have any comments or would like to submit any information for publication onto the website, we are particularily keen for historical information, race & social photographs, race reports, previous years half marathon results etc, please contact editor@worksopharriers.co.uk .

The launch of the website also coincides with the release of our On-Line entry system for the Worksop Half Marathon, we are expecting 2000 + runners to take part this year, and believe it or not we have already received our first entry to this years race, so if you want to guarantee a place in this excellent race, enter early to avoid dissapointment.
