About Us

Worksop Harriers & AC, founded in 1949, is an athletics club catering for novices and experienced athletes alike. We offer a range of training sessions to cater for all of our members requirements, including long runs, short runs, speed work, hill work, track & field sessions, fartlek and cross country. Your training can also be geared towards your specific race goals.

New members are always welcome, all that we ask of you initially, is that you try us out for a few weeks by turning up to our various training sessions to see what you think. If you like what we have to offer just fill in application form and join us.

Worksop Harriers AC is a registered charity with the Charity Commission, registration no. 1188378.

Club History

We are currently in the process of compiling a comprehensive archive of the History of Worksop Harriers (please click here to view). Please send any information you may have to: raceenquiries@worksopharriers.co.uk.  You can view hundreds of archive photographs from the early seventies onwards > Click Hereto view photos kindly provided by Mark Hazlehurst.

General Information

Photograph Consent

Throughout the year we often have parents/coaches/local press take photographs of various events and success stories.  We occasionally use photographs of our Junior and Senior club members for publicity purposes.  We believe this is a way which we can share positive news within the community as well as giving the children public recognition of their successes. Please ensure you complete the consent on the application form. Should you not wish your child’s photograph to be used we will attempt to respect your wishes.
