The Worksop Harriers held their annual Presentation Evening at the Worksop Cricket Club last Saturday to recognise their many achievements over last year. There was an excellent turnout, especially from the clubs many promising young junior athletes. The awards were followed by a buffet & disco.

The club also had a few hardy souls out battling the elements at various races around the Midlands.
Paul Dickinson (198th, 54:12), John Harrison (206th, 54:36) & Dave Havenhand (218th, 55:21) ran in the Midland Cross-Country Championships held over a challenging 12km course at Stafford Common.
While Steve Battle (103rd, 1:13:42) & Philip Harrop (214th, 1:45:46) completed the 10mile Totley Tigger Tor fell race.
And in the very hilly & icy Meltham 10km Lorraine Durrant (112th, 48:45) led home Kevin White (113th, 48:48).
