Our juniors had a great day finishing second in the 4^th meeting of the Nott’s Mini League Sportshall competition at the Grove Leisure Centre, Newark.

Results:
Under 11 girls
Bethan Dennis: Chest Push (1^st, 6.67m), Vertical High Jump (4^th, 40cm), 2 Laps (45.4).
Chloe Hallewell: Standing Long Jump (3^rd, 1.68m), 2 Laps (3^rd, 44.3), 1 Lap (14.3).
Sophie Mills: 1 Lap (4^th, 14.3), 2 Laps (46.1), Vertical High Jump (37cm).
Charlotte Oaks: 1 Lap (15.1), 2 Laps (48.9), Vertical High Jump (32cm).
Lucy Harrop: 1 Lap (15.8), 2 Laps (49.5), Standing Long Jump (1.42m).
4 X 1lap Relay: Bethan, Chloe, Charlotte & Sophie (2^nd, 56.4).
Which meant the team finished 2^nd in their age category.

Under 11 boys
Nathan Garratt: 1 Lap (3^rd, 13.8), 2 Laps (46.1), Standing High Jump (32cm).
George Earle: Chest Push (1^st, 6.35m), 2 Laps (5^th, 45.2), 1 Lap (14.7).
James Battle; Vertical High Jump (3^rd, 34cm), Standing Long Jump (3^rd, 1.8m).
Which meant the team finished =3^rd in their respective age category.

Under 13 girls
Bethany Platford: Standing Long Jump (2^nd, 1.86m), Vertical High Jump (2^nd, 46cm), 2 Laps (28.7).
Sarah Gooch: Shot (2^nd, 6.31), 2 laps (3^rd, 27.1), Standing Long Jump (1.6m).
Lauren Ward: 4 Laps (5^th, 63.4), 2 Laps (29.5), Standing Long Jump (1.62m).
Sophie Bonser: Vertical High Jump (34cm), Standing Long Jump (1.56m), Shot (5.32m).
Georgia Paige: Vertical High Jump (32cm), Standing Long Jump (1.2m), Shot (5.49m).
4 X 2 Lap Relay: Sarah, Lauren, Sophie & Bethany (2^nd, 1:54.2).
Which meant the team finished 2^nd in their age category.

Under 13 boys
Brett Garratt: 2 Laps (2^nd, 26.3), 4 Laps 58.0), Standing Long Jump (1.82m).
Ben Twible: Vertical High Jump (1^st, 46cm), Standing Long Jump (4^th, 1.78m), 2 Laps (26.6).
Thomas Carratt: 2 Laps (30.0), Standing Long Jump (1.72m), Shot (5.25m).
Daniel Appleby: 4 Laps (2^nd, 60.7), Shot (4^th, 6.5m), 2 Laps (29.0).
Richard Battle: Vertical High Jump (30cm), Shot (4.49m).
4 X 2 Lap relay: Daniel, Thomas, Brett & Ben (2^nd, 1:52.7).
Which meant the team finished 2^nd in their age category.

Under 15 girls
Emily Appleby: 4 Laps (2^nd, 55.4), Speed Bounce (2^nd, 80), 2 Laps (3^rd, 26.5).
Stacie Leather: Shot (3^rd, 5.12m), 2 Laps (29.1), Standing Long Jump (1.86m).
Victoria Paige: Standing Long Jump (4^th, 1.8m), 2 Laps (29.9), Shot (6.53m).
Which meant that the team finished 3^rd in their age category.

Under 15 boys
Luke Hallewell: Shot (3^rd. 6.85m), 2 Laps (4^th, 25.6), Standing Long Jump (5^th, 2.04m).
Which meant that Luke - the one man under 15 boys team - finished 5^th in his age category!
