The Worksop Harriers finally had a successful day at the Nott’s County Cross-Country Championship after it was re-scheduled, twice, due to the weather. You would have thought that a bit of snow would have added to proceedings for roughty-toughty cross-country runners, but the powers that be felt otherwise - if health and safety had their way the sport would be band! There were a number of excellent performances for the club, the highlights being Keith Hopkinson retaining his gold medal in the over 60’s category and the under 11’s girls team of Chloe Hallewell, Bethan Dennis & Lucy Harrop who also retained their team bronze medals. An encouraging day also saw James Lonsdale (Under 11), Chloe Hallewell (Under 11) & Tracey West (Over 35) all finish 4th in their respective age categories.
