Holme Pierrepont 10km

In conditions that were warmer than ideal the we had a successful evening in the Holme Pierrepont 10km with five runners out of six recording personal best times.

Tracey West was once again the star performer finishing 4^th lady (2nd vet) in 40:54.

All the rest of the clubs runners ran their fastest ever 10km race & finished as follows:
Dave Havenhand (30^th, 38:30, PB),
Dave Ward (82^nd, 42:17, PB),
Jimmy Kelly (152^nd, 47:07, PB),
Bryan Bonser (153^rd, 47:12, PB),
Julie Bonser (38^th lady, 47:53, PB).

The Mansfield Half marathon was also warmer than the runners would have liked & the clubs competitors finished as follows:
Steve Battle (82^nd, 1:28:32),
Adele Bryan (317^th, 1:46:41),
Caroline McGinley (478^th. 1:55:12).
There were 794 finishers.

The next race in the Notts Mini League is this Sunday (5^th, July) at Harvey Haddon Stadium, Nottingham.

The fourth race in the Notts AAA Summer League is the Harriers home event at Worksop College next Wed (8^th, July) & starts at 7:15pm. Helpers needed – contact John Harrison.
