The junior Harriers got the cross-country season off to a good start in the first race of the Notts AAA Mini League at Kings Park Retford where the wet & muddy conditions made it a real test for the young athletes. Chloe Hallewell (3rd, 4:16) was the clubs outstanding performer of the day in the under 11 girls 1,000m race. She was very well supported for the Harriers by: Lauren Ward (5th, 4:28), Catrina Dycka (10th, 4:44), Miranda Parks (13th, 4:50), Katie Wagstaff (20th, 5:46). This fine performance by the under 11 girls team meant they finished an excellent 2nd, just 1 point behind their age group winners - Notts AC Jack Sanders (8th, 6:44) was the clubs first runner home in the under 11 boys 1,500m competition, leading the team to 4th place.
