The junior Worksop Harriers strengthened their hold on third place in the Notts Mini League with some excellent results.
The clubs star performer was Paige Daughtry who set a new County Record of 3.75m to win the under 11 girls long jump. This promising young athlete also finished second in the 150m in 25.6 seconds.
Junior Coach Michele Harrop, who also takes athletics into primary schools in Bassetlaw said:
“Paige has done really well & made good progress in the time she has trained with us. There is huge potential in the local schools, it’s such a shame that there isn’t the facilities in Worksop to make the most of it”
