Richard Simms (102nd, 1:23:27) was the leading Worksop Harrier among the 4,537 finishers in the Sheffield Half Marathon. The race both started & finished in the Don Valley Stadium adding to the atmosphere of this popular event.
He was followed by: Terry Millington (442nd, 1:33:00), Jimmy Kelly (1,572nd, 1:47:13 PB), Graeme Murray (1,642nd, 1:47:49), Julie Bonser (2,038th, 1:51:20), Joanne Smith (2,089th, 1:51:52 PB), Caroline McGinley (2,166th, 1:52:37 PB), Donna Bilzard (2,723rd, 1:58:20).
The Larwood 10km & fun run take place this Sunday (11th) from the Hewitt Arms, Shireoaks. Entries for both events can be made on the morning of the races, with the fun run starting at 10:30am, followed by the 10km at 11am.
The second race in the Notts AAA Summer League takes place next Wednesday (14th) at Holme Pierrpont, Nottingham & starts at 7:15pm.
